Contests or Sweepstakes

Holding a contest or sweepstakes is a proven way to promote your web site. You can announce your site to hundreds of web sites that list free contests and sweepstakes.

Press Releases

One of the most powerful promotion strategies is sending out press releases about your contest or sweepstakes. Ask entrants to your contest or sweepstakes if they would accept offers from your business in the future by e-mail.

Chat Rooms or Forums

Use online chat rooms to promote your web site. Find the right chat room where your targeted audience or niche would gather. Announce to everyone in the chat room something interesting or free that's offered on your web site to attract visitors.

Always be aware of chat room rules before engaging the visitors in a sales pitch that could be considered spam.

I try to find other web sites that have the same target audience, but are not in direct competition with my business. It?s a sure fire method of increasing my exposure to qualified prospects.

It doesn?t matter what your promoting you?ll find businesses to cross promote and joint venture with all over the Internet.

Traffic Generators

You can easily promote your web site by using traffic generators. I?m not talking about magic bullets or hocus pocus schemes either.

They could be free e-zines, a service, e-book or contest etc. Giving away traffic generators gives you the opportunity to get free advertising by including your ad on them.

Take it one step further and make it viral. Write a short ebook and give away the distribution rights. Other webmasters are generally receptive to promote quality content! .

When you post a message to a list always make sure you include your signature file at the end. Include an attention getting sentence why they should visit your web site. Just like a headline. Make it provocative and compelling!

There are many more ways to promote your website. If one of these methods doesn?t work for you find another, but whatever you do? do something.

Once you've committed to taking action everything you do online from sending emails to blogging or even just surfing the web, should be motivated towards producing more visitors to your web site and referring prospects through promotional means.

Generators are essential for fieldwork done by consultants often exposed to remote areas where electricity is not available.

A Goscor Engines customer recently did an intensive study to establish which generators are suitable for use with sensitive equipment such as the Cedip product range where spike and dips in power supply are very unhealthy for the equipment used.

Prior to doing the comparative study the customer, working in the field as a logistics consultant, used battery supplies as equipment power source. He found battery supply as power source extremely limiting due to limited battery life.

Subsequently the consultant tried using UPS as a power supply especially when he did demonstration work but also found that time is a factor as the UPS also ran out of power, often at crucial points during a demonstration.

Traditional generators were not suitable either as dips and spikes occurs damaging the sensitive equipment used during demonstrations.

New generation (Inverter technology) generators were therefore considered as it includes power saving mode, are capable of delivering increased power on demand and are also equipped with a built in inverter circuit that protects sensitive electronics. These generators also have a 12V output, which is great especially when batteries have to be charged. Light-weight, compact in size and low noise levels are also an advantage especially when field demonstrations are done.

"Based on price and performance if I was looking for a system to operate my field set-up, I would opt for the Robin Subaru Generator. I did a demo for our Department of Environmental Affairs (Marine and Coastal Management - Anti-poaching task force) using the Robin, and it performed beautifully" said the client.

The set-up included:

The generator did not switch up to provide additional power. It remained in low power mode, thus providing more than 5 hours continuous use with no need to top up the petrol. The demonstration took place less than 10 meters from the generator, and could hardly be heard above the conversation level.

The only advantage of the more expensive generators, is that if you require a higher power rating than offered by the single generator, you can purchase an optional extension that allows you to connect two generators of the same model and rating in parallel, thus putting out double the power rating of a single generator. The output remains clean, spike-free and in phase.

Fast money making sounds like the world of con artists. But what if it wasn't? I find that fast money making is really a mental state of mind more than anything.

For instance, there's a Clickbank book called "Emergency Cash Generators", and I bought it. I read it. And wow - it works! Over 100 fast money making systems - all legitimate and kosher. Like the peephole idea. Go to a new suburb and install a new peephole on the front doors of those shiny new homes. That's right - fast money making doesn't need to be underworld. Anyone can do it, you just need to believe it can be done.

Of course, on the web, fast money making is the basis of all the matrix programs, those money programs that don't really have a product, but you can make money if you get in at the top. In matrix programs, people that don't join in the first 2 days usually never get paid much. It's sad, but that's how most of them work.

When I think of fast money making, I think of the original content guys - those people who have a product launch that fills a niche and satisfies a need. Those guys make a killing in just days. Like Mike Filsaime...at the time of this writing, he's doing this Butteryfly launch, selling a membership site designed for fast money making, and from what I can see, he pulled in $1.5 million in about 10 days. Not bad!!

So, if you think fast money making doesn't exist, think again. People are doing it all the time. You just have to be willing to believe it can be done. Then do it.

into the webpages using SSI (or server side included).

Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI

or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code

SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time

saver especially for those who are using automatic

These are some of the tips that have worked well for

some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands

on their websites. It is important to know though that

ads are displayed because it fits the interest of the

people viewing them. So focusing on a specific topic

should be your primary purpose because the displays

will be especially targeted on a topic that persons

will be viewing already.

Note also that there are many other Adsense sharing

the same topic as you. It is best to think of making a

good ad that will be somewhat different and unique

than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that

Most keywords that are the product of a webmaster?s guess are far too broad to make any kind of difference in search engine ranking or web traffic.
